US Premiere: “The Walls”

US premiere of “The Walls” at Guilford College in Greensboro NC! A 60-member orchestra conducted by my dear friend Kami Rowan, with Sergio himself in the house! We all learned so much coaching the piece with Sergio. Professors from the Guliford History Department lectured about the historical context of the four walls before we played. What a moving experience!

US Guitar Orchestra

I will join the inaugural tour of the US Guitar Orchestra this summer! As part of the Centennial Celebration by the Aaron Shearer Foundation, I’ll join them in performances of Assad’s “The Walls” in Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall, followed by three concerts in Spain. They’ll also play the world premieres of new pieces by Bryan Johanson, Kevin Callahan and Brian Head.

Diaspora Project Funded

Just received full funding of the commissioning grant for the Diaspora Project by the Augustine String Foundation! Now, these seven wonderful composers can get started on their pieces.
